To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the University of Science and Technology of China, the 4th International Symposium on Biotechnology and Energy Materials and the 60th Anniversary Celebration of China University of Science and Technology, September 16-18, 2018, in Hefei, Anhui Province was held. The conference covers four major themes, including energy conversion and storage, catalysis and medical materials, bionic micro-nano structural materials, and alumni symposiums, including lithium batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells, solar and semiconductor devices, cancer nanotechnology, and bionic special infiltration. Sexual interface materials, biomimetic energy, etc. The poster of Dr. Luo Wen of this research group won the Excellent Poster Award.
Luo Wen et al. designed and synthesized a novel hollow carbon nanotube-limited Sb nanorod (Sb@HCT) for use as a negative electrode material for potassium ion batteries. When KFSI is used as the electrolyte, the reversible capacity of Sb@HCT at current density is as high as 453.4 mA h g-1 at 0.5 A g-1, and the material exhibits excellent rate performance at high current densities. In addition, the authors demonstrated that the electrochemical process of Sb as a negative electrode of potassium ion battery by reversible XRD, Raman, TEM and other tests showed a reversible multi-step reaction combined with solid solution reaction and two-phase reaction.
