围绕储能材料与器件,重点开展了电极材料可控生长、性能调控、器件组装、原位表征、电化学储能等系统性的研究工作,在镁离子电池等领域取得了一系列的研究成果。在Nat. Energy、Adv. Mater.、Angew. Chem.Int. Ed.、Energy Environ. Sci.等期刊发表SCI收录论文270余篇,H-index82,总引用23000余次,15篇论文被选为ESI高被引论文;申请发明专利60余项,已授权44项。承担科技部国家重点研发计划课题1项、工信部课题1项、国家自然科学基金6项、湖北省自然科学基金3项和省级教改项目2项。获湖北省自然科学一等奖(序2)、二等奖(序1)、湖北省教学成果特等奖(序3)、海南省专利优秀奖(序3)和湖北省杰出青年科学基金资助,入选国家级青年人才计划、湖北省“楚天学者计划”和海南省优秀研究生导师。担任Interdisciplinary Materials学术编辑,Journal of Magnesium and Alloys和Chinese Chemical Letters期刊青年编委;任首届南海新能源材料论坛、第四届镁电池研讨会等会议主席;Nat.
